Our hospice aide/homemaker services are provided under the supervision of a registered nurse to patients who need personal care. Our hospice aides have experience in caring for people in need and have been carefully chosen to provide care for the patients on our program. The hospice aides assist with the patient’s personal care, which may include bathing, hair care, shaving, skin care, linen change, and light housekeeping of the patient’s immediate environment. Hospice aides are not allowed to dispense medication. The nurse schedules the aide’s visit to meet each patient’s needs and may vary as the patient’s condition changes.
